A member of the intergalactic military and police force known as Nova Corps, originally an exploration group from the planet Xandar, the source of Nova Corps' power is called the Nova Force, an unlimited energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind. When the last surviving member of the Nova Corps, Rhomann Dey, was dying, he selected the young high school student from New York called Richard Rider to succeed him. Richard received the uniform and powers of a Nova Centurion, but few instructions on how to use them. Calling himself Nova, Rider became a superhero, fighting supervillains and teaming up with heroes like Spider-Man and Thor. Initially, he hid his double identity, but later revealed it to his family. Rider discovered Dey's ship orbiting Earth and used it to travel to Xandar where he joined the Xandarian war against the Skrulls. With the help of Rom the Space Knight, the Skrulls were defeated. Returning to Earth, Rider was discharged and relinquished his powers. Rider witnessed the reformation of the Nova Corps and was given the rank of Centurion Prime. Assigned to Earth, Rider faced the challenge of balancing his life as a member of the Nova Corps and the New Warriors but left the group when he was summoned to Xandar to confront the Annihilation Wave, a force from the Negative Zone led by Annihilus. Nova's powers come from an energy source called the Nova Force, an unlimited energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind, which grants superhuman abilities including flight, superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as the ability to absorb energy directed against him and release it as pulses and beams. Nova debuted in The Man Called Nova #1, written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by John Buscema in 1976. Wolfman intended the young character to be a tribute to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's Spider-Man, following his humble working-class roots and alter ego. Iron Studios bring a statue of feared Uruk-hai original from LOTR!

Extremely violent and blindly loyal to Saruman, of all the Uruk-hai created in Isengard, he is probably the most intelligent, fearless, and capable leader. With his face painted for war, on an environmental display base of the forested land of Parth Galen, with the legendary Horn of Gondor cracked at his feet, the gigantic Orc carries his deadly arrows in a quiver on his waist, while firmly holding his large bow in his left hand. Clad in thick armor, despite his brutish and unorthodox fighting style, his skill as an archer and swordsman using a scimitar make him a lethal adversary. To the joy and satisfaction of fans and collectors of The Lord of the Rings franchise, Iron Studios presents the statue 'Lurtz, Uruk-hai Leader - Lord of the Rings - Art Scale 1:10' featuring the first and most feared Uruk-hai created by Saruman and leader of his scouts.

Created specifically for Peter Jackson's movie 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring', Lurtz was the first of the Uruk-hai, a new breed of Orcs, leader of Saruman's scouts. Seconds after his birth, he choked the first Orc he saw to death, and when the other Orcs advanced against the newborn Uruk-hai, the wizard Saruman interrupted them, intrigued by the violence present in Lurtz, who became the Wizard's second in command and led the first battalion of Uruk-hai in the battle against the Fellowship of the Ring at Amon Hen. In Jackson's adaptation, Lurtz is responsible for the death of Boromir, hitting the warrior with three arrows, and after his soldiers captured the Hobbits Merry and Pippin, as he slowly approached the injured Boromir for the coup de grâce, Aragorn, who heard the sound of the Horn of Gondor played by Boromir, intervenes and knocks Lurtz to the ground, and after a brutal fight between them, Aragorn manages to sever Lurtz's arm and decapitate him, and Boromir dies shortly afterwards, after speaking with Aragorn. Portrayed by the New Zealand Maori actor Lawrence Makoare, his body was so large that he declined the padding used by other Uruk-hai actors, needing only the minimum to give him the features. With his vision impaired by the makeup, Makoare couldn't hold back his punches in the sequence where he fights Aragorn, so to avoid repeating this scene in the shooting, Viggo Mortensen decided to retaliate to the same extent, which means that the physical blows were completely real.

Dr. Pamela Isley, better known as Poison Ivy, belongs to a group of supervillains which compose Batman's rogue's gallery. Driven by an obsession for plants, botany, and extremist environmentalism, with the desire to save the world from the evils of men at any cost, Pamela is a genius scientist and a metahuman with a hybrid plant DNA, using mutant plants, pheromones, and toxins from plants and from her own blood for her criminal activities. Completely conscious about her beauty, enhanced by pheromones and a unique biology, Poison Ivy is portrayed as a seductive sociopath who believes her duty is to protect The Green, although her methods are destructive. The only person by whom Ivy shows genuine affection is Harley Quinn, with whom she developed a special relationship in which they are both portrayed as partners in crime, friends, and sometimes lovers. Created by Robert Kanigher, she first appeared in Batman #181, in 1996. Kanigher created Poison Ivy inspired by model Bettie Page, giving her the same haircut and southern accent. Pamela studied advanced botanical biochemistry in college together with the scientist Alec Holland, who later had his consciousness and memory tied to the Swamp Thing, and was instructed by Dr. Jason Woodrue, who became the supervillain Floronic Man. Woodrue was the one who injected Isley with the venom and toxins in an experiment, causing her transformation.

Patrick 'Eel' O'Brian is a former criminal that, during an unsuccessful robbery, after diving into a cauldron with an unknown industrial chemical which entered his blood via a bullet wound, caused a process of mutation in his entire body which transformed his physiology, turning O'Brian into a fluid-state being, not completely liquid or solid, with total control over his structure. O'Brian's discontent with his criminal life and his wish to reshape himself made him adopt the code name Plastic Man and start acting as a detective and superhero, being able to stretch his limbs and body into superhuman size and length without a known limit. Capable of altering his density, becoming as dense as a rock or as flexible as a rubber band. O'Brian can even shrink to some centimeters of height, taking the shape of a pocket in Batman's utility belt, or becoming larger than a skyscraper, and is able to alter his strength by enlarging or adding more muscles. Even though he is one of the planet's most powerful entities because of the unlimited nature of his powers, he has a relaxed and cheerful attitude towards life which causes many people to not take him seriously. He acted as a Justice League member, in the All-Star Squadron and in The Freedom Fighters. The only limit to O'Brian's powers is related to his colors, which he can't change without intense concentration. He usually doesn't like this ability and keeps his costume in the yellow and red colors. Even with this limitation, Plastic Man is able to transform into an exact duplicate of uncountable red/yellow/black items.

Created by Jack Cole in 1941, he was originally a Quality Comics character during the Golden Age of Comic Books, later his rights were acquired by DC Comics, becoming a part of the cast of characters in DC's universe. Plastic Man was one of the first superheroes to incorporate humor into the conventional action narrative.
